Sylvester Mudzimurema (on the far right of the above photo) is currently serving under the campus ministry of the Presbytery of Bulawayo called Reformed University Fellowship (RUF). His focus is with the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) in Bulawayo, the second-largest city in Zimbabwe. NUST currently has an enrolment of approximately 11,413 students, providing a significant opportunity for the gospel to reach young people who will go on to influence many spheres of society.

Through evangelism and gospel conversations, small-group Bible studies, and one-to-one Bible reading and discipleship, Sylvester is seeing the ministry grow both spiritually and numerically. Despite the challenges that come with campus ministry, the gospel is bearing fruit as students are engaging with God's Word, growing in their faith, and becoming increasingly involved in the Christian community.

Sylvester’s time in Bulawayo has also impressed upon him the great need for sound, Bible-teaching churches in Zimbabwe and he looks forward to becoming involved in church planting in the near future.
